  • Visitor statistics: collected automatically by the Google Analytics script when you visit the website. For visitors in Europe, cookies are used only after consent.
  • Email inquiries: we receive what you send directly to our email address.
  • Web tools: files you open and anything you enter in the PDF viewer, code generator and presentation tool are processed only inside your browser and are never sent to our servers. Tool settings and recent file lists are stored only in your browser, for convenience.

You can decline visitor statistics as described under “Cookies and how to decline them” below. The other transfers are necessary to deliver the website and reply to inquiries, so declining them would prevent you from using the website or contacting us by email.

05Cookies and how to decline them

We use Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_-prefixed cookies, kept for up to 2 years) for visitor statistics. A cookie is a small file stored in your browser that lets us recognise the same browser when you return.

  • Visitors in Europe (EEA, UK, Switzerland): no cookies are stored until you consent.
  • Visitors elsewhere: cookies are used by default, and you can decline at any time.

How to decline

  • Open “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page and choose “Decline”; visitor statistics cookies will no longer be used.
  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. (Chrome/Edge: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies; Safari: Settings → Privacy)
  • You can install Google’s Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Your consent choice and web tool settings are stored only in your browser’s storage and are never sent to us.

06Retention and deletion

Personal data is deleted without delay once its retention period ends or its purpose has been achieved. Visitor statistics are deleted automatically when the Google Analytics retention period ends, and electronic files such as emails are deleted in a way that cannot be recovered.

07Your rights

You may at any time ask to access, correct, delete or stop the processing of your personal data, or withdraw your consent. Email the privacy officer below and we will act without delay.

Visitor statistics are distinguished only by a cookie identifier, so we cannot single out a particular visitor. Once you delete your browser cookies, the statistics tied to that identifier are no longer linked to you.

08Security measures

  • All communication with the website is encrypted with HTTPS.
  • We minimise the data we collect by having no sign-up or input forms.
  • We keep the number of people with access to visitor statistics and email accounts to a minimum.

09For visitors in Europe (GDPR)

If the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to you, the following also applies.

  • Legal basis: visitor statistics are based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)); replies to email inquiries are based on our legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Withdrawing consent: you can withdraw at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
  • Your rights: you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing, and you may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.
  • International transfers: the Republic of Korea has received an adequacy decision from the European Commission. Transfers to U.S. providers rely on the safeguards each provider applies (such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses).
